We often hear many stories about CEO’s and their struggles leading up to the peak of their careers, but what Katherine has achieved in being CEO of SSC is far more revitalising and inspirational to all professionals around the world.

The Decision to become an entrepreneur

Katherine used to have a dependent job that sustained her life before becoming the founder and CEO of SSC. She decided to quit the job, despite being a person with a physical disability. When asked about why she quit her job she said “I have values, capabilities and strength to decide my own path”. These traits of resilience, persistence and compassion shown by Katherine are truly inspirational.

There is always the fear of failure while deciding to be an entrepreneur but one must power through to take that decision and have confidence in what they believe. That’s the risk Katherine took and now she has been rewarded. Also, she did one more thing right to become a successful entrepreneur was to choose her passion as her work. When asked she said “Work must be like an engine that always moves you forward, not as an obligation, but be pleasant and see it as something that fills your soul with pride and satisfaction”. Challenges being a woman Entrepreneur 

There has been a peculiar difference between man and woman all over the history that is not always spoken about explicitly. This difference is that history has mostly been recorded about men, and while courageouswomen have sometimes been noted. Katherine when asked about gender bias, Said “I exhibit that when a woman taps into her own inner strength and believe in herself, she takes leadership in her life and become a successful leader in business, regardless of circumstances.”

Professional and Personal life

Currently Katherine serve as CEO of SSC – Software& Services Consulting SRL. She is a specialized consultant in Sales, Implementation, Development, Training and Support of SAP systems.She also holds a Degree in Systems Analysis, Post-degrees in University Didactics and English Teaching Staff.

With extensive experience in the area of ​​management of Work Teams, She held various positions of Headquarters for more than two decades. Before the opening of SSC SRL, for 4 years, she was in charge of the Business Unit of SAP Business One in Infocenter S.A., a Paraguayan partner of SAP and an IT company with an exemplary track record in the national market and with more than 20 consultants in different areas. It is also SAP Certified Consultant “FI” and “MM”. She has developed from MKT plans, sales, personal motivation policies among others within the unit and contributed progresses towards the project goal.

When it comes to personal life Katherine is old school and loves to spend time with her family. She says that her family has been the backbone of support in professional life. Whenever possible she insists on spending time with her family.

She starts her day by thanking the gods for a new day. She has a nice breakfast and with her partner for years, her wheelchair, the workday starts.

With the internet and telephones, it makes it easy for her to connect with all employees and customers.Similarly when she needs to be personally present, she drives her own vehicle and she moves without problems to the office or visiting potential and future customers.

Katherine’s Professional Endeavors

Katherine started her career as Computer Programmer, following projects with the UNITED NATIONS in THE Central Bank of Paraguay,  Treasury also, continue as Development and Support Manager at Consulmática SRL (1996 – 2007) – In the company Consulmatica SA, she joined as a Systems Development Manager, where she was in charge of the training of the department, HR recruitment and the management of the entire Platinum Software Development Plan Version 4 (Windows). After 5 years in that position and having successfully launched the system, she held the position of Support Manager for more than 6 years, so her orientation was obviously customer satisfaction, improving the version of the system to cover the needs of the same. She also supported the entire implementation team, suggesting strategies, working methods, etc., that will help the project to be successful.

Katherine was Business Unit Manager SAP BO at Infocenter SA (2007-2011).  She had actively participated in the formation of a work team for the introduction of the SAP Business One Software to the Paraguayan market. With the initial position of Pre-Sales Management and after the Commercial Management she has contributed with more than 80% of clients in the portfolio in that period of time. She has led the Implementation and Support departments of SAP Business One and the company have reached more than 90% of satisfied customers during the last survey. She actively collaborated in MKT campaigns and development of events for SAP, resolution of conflicts, in addition to supporting tasks of definition and development of solutions for specific problems of the client, always focusing on customer service excellence.

Software and Services Consulting (SSC) was founded in 2013 by Katherine and her two other partners at Asuncion, Paraguay. Software & Services Consulting (SSC) offers Training Services, Provision of SAP Licenses, Implementation, Development and Support of SAP BUSINESS ONE systems.  They provide High Technology courses, ERP’s SAP BUSINESS ONE, BI with Sap Crystal Solutions, SQL Server, HANA and others. Also, the company provides consulting and development of business applications for companies.

Their product offerings include SAP Solutions namely SAP Business One, SAP Business Objects, SAP Crystal Solutions, and SAP HANA, while their own solutions are PVOne – Point of Sale and PayOne – Human Resources and Salary Management, TBOne, that makes the process easier with Bank Transfers, also they have implemented successfully an add-on module DTOne, which works with the Picking Module in SAP BUSINESS ONE, very important to accelerate the process of Distribution. Similarly, the company commercializes the licenses of the SAP Business One Systems and Business Intelligence (SAP business objects), and SAP HANA. Apart from product offerings, SSC also delivers comprehensive services.
