With 25 years plus of extensive cross countries and cross cultural experience in Enterprise and SMB Marketing Transformation projects ,Analytics led outsourcing Projects advising customers on Business Automation and Startup Growth Hacking with Sales & Marketing strategies for startups, Sandeepalways wanted to do something on his own and believed that having worked with different technology landscape all these years was a logical process towards starting his own business.

Journey leading up to being a CEO

Sandeep did B. Tech Computer Science from India and MBA from College of Business Management SIUC- Illinois Carbondale US.Though he started with IT services, being one of the best jobs choices as a B. Tech degree holder, but instead he saw potential in business consulting and started as Sales Executive in Networks and Infrastructure services and was based in Dubai (UAE) and Muscat. Then considering the slow pace of technology transformation in Middle East, he moved to Singapore PLC (London stock listed) and Solutions Net where he was majorly involved in Sales for Software services business covering Singapore and APAC markets.

His product journey started when he came back to India being Country Head to Swedish based WFM CRM Company Teleopti AB (A Calabrio Company).Later,he joined HCL BPO Services where he was managing US and European markets this was followed with NICE systems (Israel base organization) as India Sales manager for Application Business followed by with Oracle India where he was handling commercial business for Oracle India for North on Cloud CRM Business. His last stint in job career was in Singapore where he worked with Charterhouse Partnership Singapore in technology consulting space.

So, to build and bring the best practices which he sought during his working career span both in International and in India he chose to start a company. He started as boot strapped company as well and today they run on their P/L, so revenue recognition happens to be core, so their focus is majorly towards consulting, project milestone achievements, projects deliverability across various products and services.

Being focused, and not chasing what others are doing. Introspect and be as much critical as possible, what you are capable of with in your strengths, as everyone has their own strength is important to be a successful entrepreneur.

A word to budding Entrepreneurs

We all know “Startups” are and have been the buzz word since many years but unluckily the extravagant but superficial display of the same in many cases is always short lived. Though upcoming entrepreneurs having an excellent Product idea or Business plan they have to struggle during setting up its business base.

Therefore, orderly spending with smart cash flow management is much needed. The observations post funding shows that new entrepreneurs tend to look for immediate rush towards hiring people in large numbers without planning, spending their cash flow towards resources, Sandeep agrees that it is important but working wisely towards funds allocation on business operations is very important. Also to get competitive advantage and future sustainability going slow yet firm towards net new logos and new client is important. You should be self-content but be humble with sharp focus towards growth and expansion.

To run a successful enterprise focusing on current resource optimization and achieving results is necessary and not running for funding. Plan and plan well suggests the CEO of 18.h.
